Default How can I help the Danes?

Is there a petition I can sign or something to express my support of their protection of freedom of speech in their country? I am very proud of the Danes and I want to show that somehow.

    Thanks,
    Erik

    Huh?

What's so special about their freedom of speech?
Maybe you can provide some background information?

I think he is talking about the cartoon issue. Danish products are being boycotted for example in Saudi Arabia, btw.
The common culture of a tribe is a sign of its inner cohesion. But tribes are vanishing from the modern world, as are all forms of traditional society. Customs, practices, festivals, rituals and beliefs have acquired a flut and half-hearted quality which reflects our nomadic and rootless existence, predicated as we are on the global air-waves.

    Buy Danish goods?

It won't make much of a difference, whatever you do. The laws in Denmark are not changing, nor is their decision over the issue. In six months, this story will evaporate into thin air... So how can you help Denmark? By not doing so, really.

I'm surprised there isn't a petition. Oh well, I'll convince people to buy Danish goods.
