Why are my trools dying??

I have 19 winter and mountain trools and i ve just captured a settelment

The next turn i see that i have just 9 of each...

If one of these was your general unit then they would receive an extra unit in battle to represent the general who would then be taken away afterwards.

did you change the unit_size option in the beginning?

sometime the unitsize is mixed and messed up when changed and loading a savegame with an other basic.

sometimes the .cfg changed the size automatically

the thing is that the trols from my other army have the same 20 size

Or, if the city is rebellious, units inside the city sometimes get killed. Could this be it?

Trolls get killed in cities or villages if they are the only ones their; once a riot starts out they are not very helpful; you need other units and a general, not just trolls. You would've gotten a task to send more units into _______ village, or a notifcation saying" Your troops are being killed in a riot!!!" or "Your soilders are deserting!!!"

Btw,if you have 19 snow trolls, what turn were you on; or were they just generals?
