cumulative patch problem, please help.

I have installed the cumlative patch 1.3 and then patch 1.44 over my 1.4 mod but when I try to play the game the window opens up as if minimised takes a few seconds then windows tells me that the game is not responding so i have to close it. when I use the sprite vkl it tells me:

Please help.

From what you posted, looks like a very messed up installation. I think you might have installed one of the patches into the main MedII directory rather than /mod/Call_of_Warhammer. Not enough information to be sure of this.

For the simplest solution. 1. Delete current COW directory. 2. Reinstall COW. I would use one of the cumulative installs e.g., 1.4.3 version that includes everything beforehand already combined (these are available both by torrent and file sharing site). Then apply 1.4.4 patch and then 1.4.4 translation. Make sure everything goes into the same and appropriate directory.

I tried this, same problem, same message from the sprite.

Sorry to tell you this.... But reinstall everything. M2TW, Kingdoms, 1.4 plus updates. That is one scary messy install you have there.

Ohh, dammit ok reinstalling.

I tried reinstalling same problem, I have gold edition M2TW does that make a difference?

Still on 0% 2 days later, am I using the wrong program or something?

Update the tracker, your not connecting.

I tried the torrent and the EDT kept rising. So instead ive downloaded 1.4 and now downloading the "1.4.4 cumulative and music patch" which if it does as it says on the tine can be installed staright after 1.4. I hope this is right. I think then i will see if it runs props then download the translation.
