Re: Ideas/Suggestions for Gondor
Saddly, I recently burned all my saves when I updates.
Well, I usually have Barad Dur and Minas Morgul/The Black Gate by max turn 40. Blitz our with militia and bring all your generals to fight Mordor. Engage, tie orcs up, then flank. Keep few men handy down south to fight Harad. Just beware the trolls that spawn when you enter the Black Lands.

Re: Ideas/Suggestions for Gondor
Third-tier barracks should be the first thing you build in Minas Tirith and Dol Amroth followed by paved roads in both settlements and sea trade buildings in Dol Amroth, followed up by mines for both. Focus on population growth bonuses for all cities except Dol Amroth and Pelargir and make sure you build the first tier barracks and ranges in both Osgiliaths to get free upkeep and easier retraining between the endless sieges of East Osgiliath. Additionally, rush for third tier archery ranges in both Osgiliaths as soon as you get the first barracks event. Finally, micro-manage your cities so all of them except Pelargir, Dol Amroth and the Osgiliaths are on low taxes except when your generals are about to finish construction projects. You're going to want to be able to build wall upgrades as soon as possible, particularly in Linhir.

Re: Ideas/Suggestions for Gondor
Your general's bodyguard cavalry liquefy orcs, so do Ithillian Rangers. Last campaign I played, five units of Rangers and Denethor held Ithillian against everything Mordor could throw, including a full stack led by the Witch King.
By the time I actually went past Minas Ithil and started pressing into Mordor, Denethor had the title "Steward Denethor, Lord of Terror"
