Problems after patch install

Hi all, I installed RSII & started a Roman Campaign. I got several errors etc, using the launcher ("fails", etc), but the game ran ok if I ignored the errors & started the campaign.

Anyway, I figured I'd install the patch but then the game wouldn't start from the launcher & I got an error something like "MODEL_DB unable to find battle data" or something like that. So I unistalled the patch & the game plays ok again but I still have all the errors when running the launcher.

Any idea what happened after the patch install?

Ok, lets change the question......... this may sound dumb but how do you "install" the patch? Do you just unzip & cut/paste the contents to your main Rome folder?

*EDIT* Ok, forget it, I just found the patch instructions! lol
