Stick with 6.3 or try again with 6.4?

A few weeks ago I tried to install 6.4 and all I got out of it was... well nothing. I installed it properly just as it should be and 6.3 kept loading up asif nothing had changed.

I am using Steam.

Now I am trying to reinstall 6.3 again as I do enjoy that game and I am wondering, try again with 6.4 or to keep enjoying 6.3?

I've installed 6.3 successfully and its patch but keep getting a CTD when loading a game/faction. Please advise.

What does your system log say?

6.4 is a patch that fixes various bugs and issues so it's required. You might be a vista or a windows 7 user. If so then disable UAC and and reinstall the entire mod with admin rights.
