This will be the game intro movie, we thought it would be a nice teaser for you all too.

Excellent intro (+rep), since development is lasting for a few years, and it is kinda "soon enough" for release, looks like master piece

Perfect intro for Dominion of the Sword! Over 40 in game cinematic features for the campaign also sounds great and I'm really looking forward to see how it will become.

    Definitely +rep!

Would you all be interested to see our in game cinematics- maybe we can release one every few days- or would you prefer to wait for the surprise of seeing them suddenly pop up in game, -you won't know which events will trigger after all so it will be a cool surprise when they come along.

As nice as it would be to be pleasantly surprised I for one find the prospect of preview vids too tempting!

This summary is excellent btw, really looking forward to this mod. Congratulations on a job well done!

I have a few cinematics for the special features that I just ing love! I'd like to share them, but I'd probably only be disappointed if everyone wasn't going crazy about them. So maybe, maybe not. See how I feel when I'm sober

Wow, this is a fantastic video!

You may not be entirely satisfied with your performance Hross, but let me tell you it fooled me. 100%.

well if you do i wouldn't see them (i rather be surprised).

I do have a question. Will playing it for the first time be hard to understand how many of the features function?

Also you have a good voice
"we're way way pre-alpha and what that means is there is loads of features not just in terms of the graphics but also in terms of the combat and animations that actually aren't in the game yet.So the final game is actually gonna look way way better than this!” - James Russell, CA
Just like the elephant animation, this Carthage scenario is actually in the game, it just has a small percantage factor for showing up, that's all...

Hopefully not. We are trying to make everything seemless and straightforward so you don't end up thrown into a pit without a clue what's going on. How good job we did at that we'll see. :-)

I'm slowly putting together a game guide listing all the features including a very lengthy section on all the tech trees and how they work. If you don't read it it's your own fault. I know Res has been very keen to make the first play as user friendly as possible, but it is pretty difficult to tone down the features into a more arcade style. I don't think it will be a good idea to have endless info in the advisor button either, but I will discuss it with the lads at some point and see what we can do. The best thing is to just read the bloody manual!
