I tried to install EB about 3 times, the last installation carefully cost me 2 hours, I read all faq's, made all upgrades/updates/patches, corrected the wrong startup lines, .......

I have a plain installation RTR DVD Gold, original from Sega (PC028-GE).

The validation is below as a file.

The sea have I patched back to original, that's ok.
After all patches I manually had to insert the patch1 which I downloaded.

There is a 4th Tab that is blank. No senate, no missions. If I am no-agressive as Romani, just lay back, drink some wine from the vesuv, perhaps a cucuber, nothing happens. Just 2 poor Troops of 2 Units which came by from the south to be massacred, 'caus they have nothing better to do.

Could somebody watch over this? I'm quite unsure if this installation is correct.

Does the mod run fine? Everything looks normal from the pictures you posted.

We removed the senate as it was an unrealistic protrayal of how the roman faction worked, you don't get missions either.
The AI factions expand slower than they do in RTW, in fact in general the pace of EB gameplay is slower.

thank you for your response. Hmm, after I got more experience with Rome Total war and his mods I realized the thing with the senate and that the question was "more than necessary ".

Second I learned "yes, there is a use of the advisor" to put script code in. More intensive reading - more learning - more understanding - fewer questions .

Still i had my troubles to get it work and thought that I first look on other mods and read more posts (difficult if you have to read through 5-7 years, but "yes we can" .

After all it seems looking right also for me. That nothing happened should be the problem I (perhaps) didn't activated the script code in the right way. Sorry, I installed RTR now (you traitor!!!, I know, I know). But I'll come again, 'cause EB is fascinating and I'm very interested how the different Mods are created and coded. And the most complex coding seems to be EB.

So I come to the point: human failure (-->me) was the problem.....
