Changing and making new quotes help.

Okay, i'm making mod up, and im in the process of making new quotes up made 20 so far, but when i place the new quote.ini file into the mods folder the game crashes on the first loading screen. Anyone know whats causing this?

Quote.INI?

You have data\descr_transition_screen.txt where the pairing of quote and author is listed numerical.
And you have data\text\quotes.txt where the actual quotes are written. If you made a mistake in there like changing the entries in between the curly brackets or deleting\replacing a curly bracket then you will get a crash when that quote gets called.
Each quote consists of two lines, see the example:
{Author_60}Matthew, ch. XXIV, V.6
{Quote_60}And ye shall hear of wars and rumours ....

Ohh data\descr_transition_screen.txt? didn't know that file existed. No wonder why it's been crashing HAHAHA. I didn't know about that file, and so i jumped right into editing the quote.txt insted. Here is a copy & paste of my quote.txt file. So this is what my quote file looks like in any case, so i don't think the crash is because of any mistakes i've made in here. And i've only edited this file, so is there any other files i need to edit in order to prevent crashing?

Edit: Fixed it, apparently it's because i only had 20 quotes but the transition_screen.txt had 120 listed and so did descr_quotes_lookup, All that was needed to be done was to change them both to 20, and no more crashing. Ahh phew, feel like i've learned somthing new with the game modding.

That's what I tried to say and failed: the numbers in descr_transition_screen should not be higher then the ones in quotes.txt
The lookup file (all of them) can be ignored = they are leftovers from RTW and are not referenced anymore
