The Order Of Hashashins

i think adding those assassins like an order (have their own castles like Alamut and their own leaders like Hassan Al Sabbah) in the next version will make it astonishing.
they have contributed in many changes during the rule of the seljuk sultanate...they have killed and tried to kill many sultans and viziers (they have tried to kill sultan Saladin more than a time but they have failed) and (they have killed the great seljuk vizier Nezam Al Mulk the vizier of sultan Alp Arslan)
until the mongols (Hulagu Khan) besieged Alamut in 1257 and they have been completely destroyed by Sultan Ruken Al Din Baybers in 1275 (the syrian branch).
a perfect idea isn't it?

This is good idea but you should know this the Hashashin (Assassins) hadn'd any troops or army. they just were training the assassins to kill any sultan/atabeg/Amir/or general who had a opposed idea with them and they were acting in hidden.

Hmmm I Think they did have a troop as they have a their own fortress an need a troop to defend it and many times in history they're threatened by war and survive it, they even hold the mongol for 3 year, it will be really hard to do such thing without an army

i already know that, what i meant is to make them like an independent order only working for his cause...
read their history (it begins just before the crusades).

There are Hashashin soldiers in the Egyption and Ottoman factions in the MTW. do you think is there any connected between Hashashins order and them?
if there is so in the BCTW 3.0 they must be designed like an assassin not armed soldier. not only assassin perhaps other soldiers like Janfishani swordman , Alamuti maceman , Zagros riders , Damavand archers and more ...

I have made this suggestion here, in the form of a unique guild building/fortress. However it requires that the team exchange one city for another. A simple rename would do, they are so near each other.

Taking advantage of the Hashashin's would require you to own the "city" where their fortress (this unique building) is, and that you be Shia. The best thing about the idea I think, is that it adds a unique dimension to a small faction -- knowing that mazandaran begins there in 3.0. It would be a neat way to play a different style game, having such limited resources, and tiny army, but such powerful chracter agents at your disposal (who can cause unrest in rival towns and kill their governors) and You can read all about it there!

Hashashin Facts

The Assassins ceremonial garb included a long white tunic with red finishings as well as a red cap & girdle
- they would carry ceremonial axes with several daggers attached to them during meetings

To assassinate Muslim targets - any costume would suffice, the most popular was that of a begger

When assassinating crusaders - the most favored disguise was to dress as a monk
they did study christian theology and Frankish languages to blend in

- terror operations that only involved striking fear in the target's heart
were accomplished by sending a dagger thrust into a pillow or a piece of bread,
usually accompanied by a letter with a death threat

- they would occasionally serve their rivals as they were very keen on gaining a fearsome reputation

A weapon was recorded that was made up of three daggers attached together
- purely ceremonial but deeply provoking & chilling !

Good idea! Maybe an ancillary should be created for assassins of muslim factions: Member of the Order of the Hashashins.

Seems very interesting. But in terms of Med2 and BC, I'd suggest renaming Assassins to Hashashins. A military unit sounds unlogical to me, I know they are included in the vanilla version, but it's vanilla, nothing is accurate in the original med2.
