Hi guys..I recently formatted my PC.. Ok I got on DVD COW 1.4, 1.4.1 and 1.4.2..so i downloaded 1.4.3
I installed everything correctly but now I'm unable to start a new campaign..It keeps coming back to the main menu

Some files were altered in the process of patching to 1.4.3 including descr_strat.txt in imperial_campaign subfolder. There is an error in the original descr_strat connected with the translation. Certain names don't match and thus every time someone tries to start a new campaign he/she will end kissing the start menu screen over and over again. THP knows the solution and every time there is going to be a new translation launch he makes his usual magic and finds and eliminates that error in descr_strat which we (me and Beregond) upload with our translation folder. I know...it's kinda long and weird description of the problem
So just wait this one day (maybe two) and you'll and others will get once again the possibility to play campaign games. We are now making needed changes in the changed files but we also must test them to see if everything is correct.

Zack, I had this problem when I installed 1.4.3 Russian over 1.4.2 English. For me, the problem was a duplicate name for a starter Night Goblin general, and once I changed it the campaign starts, albeit in Russian.

If you get a menu bounce-back look in your log and see what the error is. Otherwise I guess just hang in there for the English translation.

Does it work for you now Zack ? Because even with english translation it doesn't work for me
