    Default Patch 1.3 and previously saved games

    If I update MTW2 with patch 1.3, will my previously saved games for the campaign be compatible? With RTW, I had difficulties with old saved games working after a patch.

    1.3 is for multiplayer. If you do, your savegames will be useless.

    Is the same case for some of the earlier patches? I noticed one of the patches addresses a bug where cavalry doesn't always charge with spears. I would very much like this to be fixed, for having the enormous charge of cavalry turn into a cluster of fail is very disappointing. However, I would like to be able to play my old campaign if this is possible.

    I posted something then found the answer to it. Now I can't delete this post. I pressed the "Go Advanced" button, but still didn't find it.

    There maybe mods that have but I really don't know I haven't played vanilla since about the third week after its release. It's been mods since.
