In my mod you won't see naval trade until Mechants Warves are built. That is either in the descr_settlement_mechanics.xml or descr_camapaign_db.xml.

I delete descr_settlement_mechanics.xml and descr_camapaign_db.xml and nothing. Maybe I have something wrong? But what?

Do you have trade agreements with those across the water?

What size units are you using? Small? Default/medium? Large?

The game engine will still take land travel first if more productive to its ends.

I check campaign with all unit size. Nothing. You have a right, about land trade. But nowhere sea trail. I searched a interesing post about this: http://www.twcenter.net/forums/showt...ighlight=trade but change EDB in my mod don't cause. Further the same.
Maybe must change a resources in descr_strat.txt or descr_regions.txt ?
I think it is a so much regions on stratmap.
Hmm.... I deeper look out, and when I find nothing, then I will write.

I was going to link you the same thread.
Anyways try to delete the medieval2.preference.cfg file from the main M2TW folder maybe that helps don't know but it's worth a shot.

I don't search any errors in my files. Hmm.... What files can still be associated with this problem? Maybe I should rebulid my mod from the beginning? Whether it is possible that the map could be wrong build (descr_regions.tga) ?

I do not believe there is anything wrong with your mod. It just takes time to build up the trade. It does not happen in one turn.

Look, I create a new, fast mod. I change only folder map (base/map with map from my mod). Rest file in imperial_campaign I copied from vanila. Overlooks the fact that the map must contain a bug....
It should be a sea trade between Venice and Iraclon, but still it is not...

Can you check my simple map?

To be honest, I never had a straight shot from Venice to Iraklion in a mod. I never had one bend around Greece to get there.

The only naval routes I have seen out of Iraklion have been to Benghazi and Ahens. I don't remember one to Rhodes bu threre may have been.

Heh, thanks, but my problem is purely technical... in my mod isn't any sea trade... this is a problem.

If you let your cities grow, build all port facilities available along with bazaars, your sea trade will grow.

The first leg maybe Venice to Messina or Cosenza but it will grow.

Still nothing. Even in the simplest mod is not a sea trade.

I think you said in vanilla it was alright, right?
So install say retrofit mod and see if that helps. Otherwise last option is to reinstall the base game and then patch it etc to the latest version 1.5.

    Medieval2 is 1.3. Kingdoms is 1.5.

If you are using medieval2.exe, then you are okay.
