    Default Cant install MS Office 2010

    Its just really weird. The installer starts after cleaning up my earlier 2003 version. Then it says like "wait till its installed", but the loading-bar just does nothing after hours and hours. The CPU makes allot of noise though.

    I have no idea why this is. Its says its for 64 bit versions and I got Vista 64. Also tried to turn-off firewalls and anti-virus...nothing.

    Help! I need a running MSO drastically.

    I think that in order to install Office succesfully you have to uninstall totally the previous version, try with the utility called RipoutOffice (I think this is it's name) and then try to install it again.

    Why don't you try open office it does the same functions and is lighter and free.
