I dont know why but ever since I started using mods large and small for NTW and ETW I found that I was ever looking for mod mods mostly little ones to expand and enrich my experience. Has anyone else found this?

Yes, I do the same. I find one mod and set it up, play with it for a bit and think "That's great!"

Then, I look for more, and more, and sometimes there are conflicts so I have to sort that out. I think I spend more time with tweaking mods than I do playing.

Seeing some (a lot of, actually) posts around here, I'd rather call it "the great spam"

At one point I actually spent more time adding and removing mods from ETW/NTW and trying out the shiny new things than actually playing the game properly.
I did the same thing with Fallout 3. I think this need a medical sounding terminology : Moddicitivus?
"Antifa Against Fascism!" - Well, obviously.......

Hi...my name is Dignan and I have EMSAGTD (Excessive mod searching and game tweaking disorder). It's addicting. Once you realize how to manipulate the files yourself then you're a stage two EMSAGTD sufferer.

Whatever it's called, I have it! I really admire the creativity and skill of the modders and it's fun to try out all the new stuff, however I don't even want to get started manipulating files on my own, I'd probably never stop!
Your reality sir, is lies and balderdash, and I'm happy to say that I have no grasp of it whatsoever!

Its crazy because sometimes 'its never enough' and you go to great trouble tweaking and adding more and more!

Sometimes I get angry at myself because I realize I've wasted two hours fiddling with mods and settings and never actually played the dang game.

the mods more or less destroy compatibility, and cause bugs everywhere.

art mods are a little different and i certainly enjoy changing the uniform module parameters. best part is, it doesn't screw the game up completely.

Part of the fact that some mods conflict makes it more addicting, you want to see what will make the game work and what wont work!

Yes, me too... I am at stage 3... which is when you actually convince yourself that modding is at least as much fun as actually playing the game, and can therefore excuse yourself from the fact that you mod more than you play.

I used to, but I think they contribute to my game crashes and therefore have taken them off. I don't really miss them - the vanilla game is good.

I like using small mods. For example, I got bored of the music on it, so I've just made myself a new music mod. Which, if anyone's interested - is linked on the angry Napoleon eyes image below.

By the time you hit stage 4, you will be doing freelance work, thus getting paid for your hobby......
And still have no time to play the game in hand
