No music or sounds
Why is it that there is no music at all on my NTW?
All the videos work but the music does not like in the campaign and the main menu, ect.
I tried restarting my computer and re-installing it but nothing...
I even tried fixing up the sound options.
Any help?

Re: No music or sounds
Is this just music, or all battle sounds? If all sounds, this problem is usually caused by a mod conflict.
If you have any mods installed, deleting your user.script file, and removing the mod files from your data folder into a backup folder. Test for sound (should work). Then start adding the mods one-by-one with the appropriate script file lines (goto your mod's main thread...they usually have sample script entries for their mod or suggestions). By doing this methodically, you will be able to isolate the mod that is presenting a conflict.

Re: No music or sounds
Like I said before, I did have a mod installed. But I switched it back to NTW. But it had no sound so I just decided to re-install because I didn't really mind doing so.
I deleted the whole Napoleon Total War folder before re-installing. So, now I have no mods for NTW at all and there is no user.script that I can find now. :s

Re: No music or sounds
if you had mods previously, reinstalled NTW, but didn't delete you script, that could be the cause of the problem...it is looking for mods that aren't there...hope it works!

Re: No music or sounds
I have had the same problem and it is a mod conflict problem. Easy to sort and if happens again, again easy to fix.

1.Check out your systems volume settings..
2.Make sure that your systems speakers are working..
3.Try Troubleshoot..
