I just read Anthem by Ayn Rand. It was actually very good and I recomend you all to read it and give me your opinions. It is only 40-50 pages.

Perhaps I shall read it after work, although I dislike reading stuff of that magnitude on the internet and printer cartridges are expensive. I will give it the old college effort though.
Sucks total ass. I havd to read it last year for English.....ugh..........and we had read Catch 22 just before. I hated it.Originally Posted by Radier

It's a good read and very easy to finish since it's short. Recommended for anyone who isn't a communist. (because it promotes individualism).
If you enjoyed Anthem, I suggest you delve a bit deeper in Ayn Rand's writings. I'd suggest either Atlas Shrugged or the Fountainhead. Atlas Shrugged is to Capitalists and Libertarians what the Communist Manifesto and Des Kapital are to Communists.

How about not. Unless you want to become like Andrew Ryan.

I actually quite liked the book. Im no fan of Ayn Rand, and the book is certainly no classic, but it is enjoyable.
Not attacking the book personally but Galts little assertion that people should read other bull **** by Rand is what I'm trying to save people from I don't want them to have to waste 40 hours of their lives.

Indeed, a 50 page book takes quite a long time to read.
Atlas shrugged is 1168 pages and badly written, plus boring!
