Missing bc.$$A file

Okay, so I downloaded the installation from utorrent, and now when I start setup, it immediately ends the installation and says that it cannot create the 'bc.$$A' file. Any help?

E.g.: C:/Program Files/Sega/... etc.?

Yes, that helps. You haven't complied to installation instructions. You have to reinstall M2TW and BC outside Program Files.

OH, I see. I thought that maybe it was a buggy torrent or something. But anyways, Many thanks man. Ill get it up and working by tonight.

Okay, I've gotten it to run properly. But it seems that whenever I play as The Imamate of Oman, its always crashes when you take territory in the southern tip of the Arabian peninsula. Is that just a bug?

What exactly do you mean by 'install BC outside of the Program Files'? Does that mean the directory should be C:Sega/MTW2/.....?

Yes, it can be C:Sega/MTW2/. Anything is good but C:/Program Files.

Out of curiousity, why doesn't it work inside the program files directory? For King or Country works fine inside the progam files directory.

I am not at all sure but it might have something to do with administrator rights or something. You know, you always have to click yes on a pop-up if you are trying to move something in or out of (a sub-map of) Program Files. I think that the computer can't trust that little pop-up window that starts if you are playing with administrator rights.
