Is it possible for me to pick which general in a settlement is the governor?
Right now, I'm using the LLP mod, and I seem to be unable to prevent the 5 year old from becoming appointed governor over the 42 year old family member with 3 command.

No you can't choose which is the governor.

I guess the citizens see the 5-year old as a better choice in the long term.

Piety makes a man the 'best' governor, most pious is always picked by the engine to govern. Although, insane chivalry sometimes beats a 10 piety guy.

The manual says it depends on piety who is going to be the governor, but in my experience Chivalry affects it.
