well yeah, still to damn much for me to buy it. I already have to upgrade my entire motherboard as it's getting old. But seriously? 80 USD for this game, no way.

It's not like the bonus content of collectors editions is of any use or am i mistaken?
I mean some ninja clan and a battle that might as well be modded in (not sure about that), seriously?
And by the way who cares about the book and this samurai action figure?
overall the standard game is still at an average pricing. i dont think you could blame ca for s2's pricing thats not really the point. I am just still not buying this game because I think total war series don't need another shogun. I hated the first one because the factions were all the same.

I don't think my machine could run S2 if it tried, poor little mite. Game seems rather pricey though!

Most of the games that have successful predecessors are overpriced, and most of them are worse than their predecessors, so I'll be careful about this one
Though I'm 60% sure that I'll simply HAVE to buy it

Well they have a lot of people to pay for this game so the price increase can be seen there, but honestly it's going to comedown to eating or buying S2. And I really like eating

Nah I would prefer to save to upgrade the 6 yearold motherboard of my cpu and all of my other outdated parts. Which is more important as I won't be able to play S2 if my motherboard goes out

You wouldn't it never went up for sale in retail. You could only obtain it on a premade system, and as such I don't get a cd-key either as apparently microsoft says it isn't a real windows xp. But this is not the place for this discussion
