    Default Slavery does work!

    I heard numerous times that enslaving the city does nothing for neighcoring cities.
    Playing as British I enslaved Patavium (Northern Italy) and as soon as I did it 3 of my cities grew to the next level! (Same turn!) 2 of them were in Ireland!

    I enslaved 22000 sized city and my cities grew on average about 1000!
    I am playing BI 1.6.
    So slavery had immediate effect on all cities in my empire - not neighboring ones.
    By the way province I enslaved had no roads at all!

    because enslaving spreads out the population from the city towards your cities. Allowing them to grow faster.

    Actually, the thing that doesn't work really isn't that instant growt of cities with governor.
    That always worked.

    What doesn't work in growth bonus of slave resource that appears in city that was enslaved.
    You know the thing that increases growth rate by 5-10% in that city and several nearby one connected to it.
    Data shown in spreadseat is OK, but final results after end of turn don't add up.

    So you could say that Slave Trader ancillary is useless for example.

    On the other hand, enslave and get instant boost of pop in some cities always worked.

    It's good to take all governors out of the cities but one. This will allow that partipicular city to get an immense population boost.
