Just wondering....
what are the "unforeseen effects" from cheating?
They are so evil, they can not be seen nor felt, and they just don't exist![]()

I have started to uise the process_cq cheat, but it dosent work on settelments that have two word names, like Minas Tirith, why? I always write process_cq Minas Tirith, am A doing something wrong?
It should be process_cq Minas_Tirith or process_cq "Minas Tirith" You can also change the name of the settlement like MinasTirith and try again, have fun!
I dont think using cheats makes game boring coz you can use it for ur enemy too! I'm sick of waiting for my enemies to raise full stacks armies, money cheat is really cool if you r not patientsorry for bad English
you can do it easier: If the settlement has two names just write it in "" (<-however they are called). For example: process_cq "Minas Tirith"
@Withwnar: thx! I was becoming a bit paranoid
Effect of cheatings = eternal shame on TWC forums and every pro flaming you![]()
This thread is old... but I have observed that when I use process_cq in cities with governors or the auto_win they gain tax income penalty traits.
I'm wondering if it is caused by the cheating, because the last time I played with cheats, all my generals had this extreme traits, while when I played without, most things were normal. Though maybe it's due to something different...
I have never used that cheat so I'm not sure, but the user above is probably right
And btw... Even though this thread is old.... It's also a sign he must have found it by the 'Search' function. And as far as the moderators are concerned, that's actually better than starting a new one. Isn't it?
However, now that it's answered other people can find it as well *if* they search for it and they'll actually have an answer.
I don't know which one is officially worse: necroposting or creating new threads unnecessarily. I say +rep to TcMt for using Search and posting in the relevant place.
Somehow I doubt it. For this to happen the trait triggers would need to know that these commands have been used. That is possible I suppose but I don't recall seeing such coding.
EDIT: actually, I take that back. Script/triggers cannot know that such commands have been used by the player. Unless there is something hardcoded into the game (but then how could hardcoding know what these traits are?) then this is not the reason for those bad traits.

Isn't it so that bad governor traits fire whenever you finish a building and the taxes are low?
I don't know if they also fire when a cheat is used, but that would explain the whole thing.
So it would have nothing to do with cheating, it would only sped up the gaining of bad traits you would have gotten anyway.
(At least every time you don't raise the taxes before a building is finished...)
if u cheat fog seen...u will see the dark lord mordor on the northeast XD
