    Default "Green" Mordor

Has anyone ever thought of what Mordor would look like if it had greenery like the rest of Middle-Earth? Might be interesting to see that in a mod.

As for the green clashing with the Harad Desert, would it be possible to make Nurn a desert and Gorgoroth grasslands?

That would make even less sense- Nurn was the most fertile part of Mordor, and would likely remain so due to the availability of water. Besides, Nurn isn't the only region which has bordering mountains that would become green- seem to remember the region east of barad dur would too.

Not really taking sense into the equation here, just thinking about what would look best cosmetically.

Edit: Jeez. chill people Not arguing for it as an inclusion into the mod, just asking whether it would be possible to do it yourself.

Actually, after the War of the Ring, when King Elessar gave Mordor to the people of Nurn, it turned to an incredibly fertile area because of all the ash of the volcano, so in the end it became a beautiful land after all.

Nurn is the area with the sea in Mordor (sea of Nurnen). There were alot of men living there as slaves. After Sauron's defeat they were freed and Aragorn gave Mordor to them to live there.

If you want to conquer nice green lands:
exchange all cities/castles of morder with those of gondor, so gondor caputes the nice fields around minas tirith and everybody is happy
