Default Gun Powder - Total War

My idea for the ultimate Total war game.

Basically it would be a revolution in the TW basis. Instead of taking a certain area or timeframe. It would start in 1492 and continue on until 1812 technology. It would have the region specifications of Empire. But with significantly more theaters. Just like in Empires there will be areas to quickly transport to other theaters. The differance will be that they will be on land as well. Such as Siberia-Mongolia and India-China (Through himilayas). BUt all of these options may cause an unimaginable amount of damage to the army due to sickness. This will make it so you can't just use Russia or india as a fall back position, leaving them undefended.
    Theaters
    ------------
    Europe & N. Africa & Arabia
India, East Africa & Southeast Asia (Cut off by moutains)
East Asia (China, Japan, Korea, and a little bit of Mongolia.
    South Africa
    West Africa
    East America, Caribian, Central America
    South America
    Australia

Now, this will obviously be in insane to expect now adays. But I imagine one day playing a TW game. Leading the Republic of Venice to conquer all of Europe, captureing most of Africa, and owning Shri lanka and north India. This all happening after about 200 years of turns. And as the turn of the 18th century comes rolling around. Thin look to the east of the Japanese Empire. Standing powerful as an industrialized power, owning everything from Mongolia to Australia, and all of South India. Then I want to look to the West, where the Aztecs struggle against the Apache for control of the America's. And these last three factions already declared war on me. And after investing 100 hours of playing time into this, all I can think is... this isn't even close to being over.

Of course this will have optional diff. start times so you don't have to start all the way back at 1492.

Another feature I would hope it'd have is that emerging factions will change as the years change (AKA rebellion on the east coast may be a indian uprising in the 1500's then be the American revolutionaries by the 1700's

    Anyways thats my random rant

Anyone think this be a sweet idea?

BTW all factions would have the opprotunity to modernize, so if your the native americans you will eventually get vessals capable of sailing the high seas. They wouldn't be as powerful as European designs but they can act as transport vessals to other continents.

Gunpowder is not CA's forte, that's for sure. The ai acts too funny and your commands don't get carried out, that's at least what happened to me with Empire and Napoleon.
You fear the Unibrow. That shows RESPECT.

Better would be a second Empire:TW imho.

We donīt need the whole world cause the game would loose any focus. Nothing happened in South Africa or Australia during the years that effected Europe, India or America. And why should the native Americans be able to expand on other continents and the Japanese have the option to modernize when that never happened during the timeframe? All the factions would be too similar to each other. It would not only be unhistorical but also boring. Each faction (or atleast culture) should feel much different to play and to succeed.

When playing a native faction like the Iroquos e.g. I should be limited to North America and drive the europeans off my coast. Which should be a hard task and a constant fight from the start to the end of the campaign including diplomatic negotiations with various european factions to gain support against their european concurrents or get some simple technology.
But that should it be - no native faction crossing the Atlantic and conquer Great Britain - that sounds only stupid to me.
