Why no world domination for France?

I'm aware that Napoleon has his campaigns of Egypt and such available, but why can't I conquer the world with him in one game as I can in the coalition campaigns?

You can play as Napoleon and conquer the world as france, if you keep playing through his campaigns you get to one called Europe, then you play as france fighting against the coalition.

I think what he means is that playing as france you don't get the "world domination" option for the europe campaign, that has, as anm objective, to conquer (or place in protectorate status) all 60 regions.

As for why, i don't know. It's one of the many, many idiosyncrasies of this wonderful, but very poorly polished game
