    Default Soundcard Problem/Identification

Today when I turned my computer on, I wanted to watch a quick video. When I turned the sound on it had a constant "flickering", almost static like noise coming from the speakers. Now my speakers are quite old so I went in and unplugged them and plugged in the built-in monitor speaks. They exhibited the same noise. I then pulled both wires around front and tried plugging them in the headphone jack and the sound happened in both. Now, I have no idea what sound card I have or how to locate it(it's built in I guess). Any help on this problem is appreciated.

Wow. I have determined that the problem was caused by my phone sitting right next to the internet receiver. Never mind for that. But still, how do I find out what sound card I have?

    Look in Device Manager.
