Stainless steel and Nvidia 3d

Just recieved my nvidia 3d setup today and have been going through all my games. One of the first games I tried was stainless steel but for some reason nvidia 3d wouldnt activate

Tried vanilla and it worked! Thing was my eyes almost popped out of my head its that good, it really does feel your right in the thick of the battle and the little guys look kinda real.

Was just wondering if anyone else uses nvidia 3d and has got it working with stainless steel?

Maybe just a matter of deactivating windowed mode, doublecheck if it is deactivated.

It is indeed in windowed mode but when i try to change the default file to windowed mode= false it automatically changes it back to windowed mode= true when I start the game

Set the file to read only before running the game.

Change autoborderlessmode to false and

automatically changes it back to windowed mode= true when I start the game

no longer happens. Deselect read only on the file, it is not needed as long as autoborderlessmode=false and windowed=false
