One question - what is a Grand Duchy of Poland? I mean there wasn't anything like that. Poland was kingdom officially from 1025y (unofficially even earlier) and even though later some rulers were not crowned the state did not stop to be a kingdom (Regnum). But still you did great job, congratulations![]()
The leaders at this time in particular were Grand Dukes, from what I understand... it's kind of confusing to me.

Poland was in civil war at the start of our campaign. A possible thing for the patch would be to represent that. We're going to redo the Baltic anyway, so why not Poland?![]()
Great release,
Downloading it now.![]()

Great mod! I never played Chivalry total war because I thought there was no point since I had M2TW but now I know how wrong I was! This brings some excellent things to the table. Thanks guys!
You fear the Unibrow. That shows RESPECT.
I'm leaving Drtad to comment on that decision...
You're welcome!
I can understand your point on M2, but I only had that thought with Rome Medieval, which is basically Medieval 2 on the Rome engine. Nothing wrong with it, especially useful for those with a slower PC, but I didn't and still don't see the point. Of course, I don't want to start a rivalry; both mods have different focus points. Chivalry is basically the "EB" of Medieval mods; complete historical accuracy (only difference is that we don't depend over-much on the script) while Rome Medieval goes for the "flashiness"-type of gameplay.
That's my view of these mods. It's up to the fans to choose, I don't care![]()
Medieval 2 has more features and modders can add even more features, like for example Stainless Steel 6.4, but M2TW doesn't have the same fun factor as Rome has. I like my mods to be historically accurate, but overcomplicating things kind of reduces fun, you know? M2TW is still good though, though I can't say I was too please about its predecesors.
One little problem I'm having. I accidently deleted the shortcut, and I created a new one, only I can't get the target right this time, it says invalid target. Here is what I had. Can u help me fix it please?
"D:\The Creative Assembly\Rome - Total War\RomeTW-BI.exe -mod:Chivalry -show_err -enable_editor -ne -movie_cam"
Please tell me what I have to correct.

The quotes (" ") have to end at RomeTW-BI.exe
So it has to look like this
"D:\The Creative Assembly\Rome - Total War\RomeTW-BI.exe" -mod:Chivalry -show_err -enable_editor -ne -movie_cam
No, but it's pretty easy to make it compatible. If there are enough requests, I can do it![]()
Don't bother urself, focus on fixing any bugs and getting patches out first. Or take a break, u deserve it!
There is one little thing though. I have a widescreen monitor, and on the 1600 by 900 resolution everything looks to wide, same thing in medieval, I just keep it on 1024 by 768. There are black bars on the side, but I'm ok with that. With this mod, however, the screen is small, and I can see a good chunk of my desktop on the resolution. I can live with it, but if there is a quick way to fix it, I would be happy to know.
One more thing: is there some way to enable fog of war? Some player's screenshots of this mod have the fog of war, but mine doesn't. Just wondering,

You can enable/disable fog of war in your preferences
Those things aren't modspecific. Depends completely on your own settings. There is one little thing though. Ie. i play every (TW) game on full hd setting since i use a full hd monitor (24", native 1920x1080).
ChivTW vanilla has the option to play with the Alexander exe. Info about ChivTW vanilla is to find here: ChivTW Main Thread or just the usual ChivTW forum.I was just wondering, and I won't be disappointed if u say no, but is it possible to play this game with Alexander engine? It does have a better ai, but BI is ok as well.
For all guys who wanna have the option to play ChivTW FCRC besides ChivTW vanilla ["vanilla" = the official or standard ChivTW mod (Early-High Era of the middleage); FCRC is an expansion into the full High Era of the middleage, a semi-official ChivTW release, while this latter difference means in principle only, that there are different mod teams and different forums used]:
Requires both installments, of course.
Open the RTW folder, and change the name of the Chivalry modfolder (before you overwrite eventually with one of the both installments).
The one ChivTW version (modfolder) you wanna play must call Chivalry, the other modfolder is then a renamed backup and makes no harm.
This way you can easily switch between the both versions.

I think u misunderstood me. I know a picture is worth a thousand words, so I posted a screenshot of my problem.
In the 1st image, there is my problem. It is easy to tab out to my desktop and I don't like it. Resolution 1024by768. 2nd image is with 1600by900. Fills the whole screen, but just stretches everything and makes it look really bad. Common problem for me on all TW games except Empire and Napoleon, which actually supports widescreen. Note, widescreen button doesn't do anything for me, its useless.
3rd image is vanilla RTW on 1024 by 768. Doesn't fill the whole screen, but at least there are black bars on the side, so I can't tab out to my desktop, and the overall size is bigger than in the 1st screenshot. I would be happy to get this mod's screen to that of vanilla RTW on 1024 by 768, as that's the only resolution that doesn't stretch the screen horizontally uncomfortably.
