Is your hard drive full? Check how much space you have available. Also which mod your using would be helpful information, as well as your OS.

Hi Ethan, welcome to the RTR forums on TWC.

Your problem sounds as though it could be related to the script although, to be honest, I didn't think that Platinum suffered from this particular issue! However, this particular problem can occur when you reload a game without first closing down your session of Rome, and it's because the script hadn't terminated properly, causing it to interfere with your restarted session.

The solution is simple, close down RTW altogether and restart your campaign from the desktop, when you restart the game and script you should then be able to save your games once more. Let us know how you get on.

Actually, RTR is built on top of RTW, so it is running in the background, so to speak, when you are playing RTR.

RTR 6 and RTRPE have no scripts. There was a version of RTRPE that had a small script deleting the messages of the first turn in a campaign(to hide the destruction of the senate), but that would only run then so anything beyond the first turn(if that) would not have been affected.

You just got the answers need mate.

Just restart the game. Its a script issue, we encounter it a great deal around here.

No, Duke, unless Ethan is using the Marcus Camillus script mod, Florin is correct, RTR-PE does not use a script and, therefore cannot be the cause of the problem. I think that we need more information, from Ethan, before we can advise further.

Is your BI updated? Are you using the mod-foldered version? is it a clean install?

They I guess you should buy Barbarian Invasion expansion for Rome:Total War
Mod-foldered version of the mod installs into a seperate folder, therefore it does not copy its files over the original game files.
