Unspecified Error when Loading Sieges

Hi all,

Just installed SS 6.3, and everything works fine except when I go to do a siege battle. The problem is when the battle is loading I get a Medieval 2: Total War encountered an unspecified error and will now exit. The last few lines in the system.log are as follows:

I've tried un-installing and re-installing but I still get the same problem. I'm also using Windows 7.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

You need to delete these:

data\descr_geography_new.txt
data\descr_geography_new.db

I believe you unpack your game, that's was cause the troubles.

Thanks for the advice, however I still can't get the battle to load.

When I looked in the files I could only find the data\descr_geography_new.db file which I deleted, but there was no data\descr_geography_new.txt file.

What will I need to do now? Uninstall SS and then download another copy?
