Default Might be a stupid qestion, BUT

is there any possibility that a son of a character with a special bodyguard (Faramirs Rangerbodyguard for example) would have the same type of bodyguard when he comes of age? If so, how/where?

Im sorry if this topic is already written about, I searched, but I didnt find any.

Either way, Im loving the mod, great work, really!

Each faction has a single default bodyguard unit, which is given to all their generals unless they're individually scripted to have some other unit type.
This individual scripting is pretty trivial to set up for characters which exist at the start of the game, but AFAIK things start to get tricky once you start talking about characters born after the campaign starts.

Like the above poster said, this is impossible. It is possible to spawn generals with certain bodyguards, but generals who come of age will always have the same type of bodyguard.

Actually, in Thera I believe that there is 3 different types of bodyguards: one who you can recruit and are for generals, one for family members and one for king and heir. I don't know if generals bodyguard change if they are adopted to family tree but new heir always got new bodyguard.

I don't know how this is exactly done but maybe it could be done to work like Loiro sayd

Thanks for the quick answers! I feared it to be so. And Santeri, nice sig! Kaksi olut, kiitos!

I have another question tho, is there any easy way to increase the marching distance of armies? IMO they are walking AWEFULLY slow.

I believe you can find it: Third Age/data/descr_character

    Starting_action_points 120. Give it a higher number.
