Default CTD when battle load for unit copied from Kingdoms

Hi. Some time ago, I had added Teutonic, Lithuania, Jerusalem to the custom campaign mod 2. It was generally tested with success until recently i realised that it will CTD during battle loading for Frankish Axemen of Jerusalem. i checked the meshes, textures and sprites and they are at the correct folders (original files copied over from Crusades).

    My ModelDB for Frankish Axemen:

    15 frankish_axemen

Ran the syntax checker and it found no error.
For EDU, i also copied it over from Crusades as follows:

    type Frankish Axemen
    dictionary Frankish_Axemen ; Frankish Axemen
    category infantry
    class heavy
    voice_type Heavy

    stat_health 1, 0

    ;stat_armour_ex 2, 3, 0, 0, 3, 8, 6, leather
    stat_sec_armour 0, 0, flesh

    stat_ground 1, -2, 3, 4
    stat_mental 5, normal, trained
    stat_charge_dist 30
    stat_fire_delay 0
    stat_food 60, 300
    stat_cost 1, 400, 125, 50, 115, 400, 4, 120
    armour_ug_levels 1, 2
    armour_ug_models Frankish_Axemen, Frankish_Axemen_ug1
    ownership jerusalem, slave
    era 0 jerusalem
    era 1 jerusalem
    ;unit_info 7, 0, 13
    recruit_priority_offset -10

Can anyone help me identify what is the possible cause for the CTD before battle loading for this particular unit?

Sounds to me like the model or texture isn't in the right place. It's usually either that or a battle_model being assigned a nonexistent animation, which is clearly not the case here.

One mistake I notice is that you've given ownership to 'slave' but the battle_model does not have an entry for the slave faction. But then that wouldn't cause the symptom you described.

It was an "unspecific error" case. Hence there was nothing special in the log.

The model count at top of ModelDB was updated. I used ModelDB syntax checker and it cleared without any errors.

As for the models, sprites and textures, i checked the following files in my mod folder:

    unit_models/_Units/EN_Peasant_Padded/frankish_axemen_lod0.mesh
    unit_models/_Units/EN_Peasant_Padded/frankish_axemen_lod1.mesh
    unit_models/_Units/EN_Peasant_Padded/frankish_axemen_lod2.mesh
    unit_models/_Units/EN_Peasant_Padded/frankish_axemen_lod3.mesh
    unit_models/_Units/EN_Peasant_Padded/textures/EN_Peasant_Padded_jerusalem.texture
    unit_sprites/jerusalem_Frankish_Axemen_sprite.spr

the original files from the Crusades mod was copied over into the respective folder mentioned above.
the attachmentsets was checked and accounted for. The _normal.texture file was placed in the original M2TW folder and not in mod folder.

Think i will remove the slave entry in EDU. Other than that, can't seem to find any other possible cause which i have not checked.

Did you update the model count at the top of modeldb? What does the log say?
