installation help

whenever i try t0 install, the first disk finishes smoothly. but when i enter disk 2 and click ok, my system hangs and i have to restart it. it never installs properly. please help!!!!!!!!!

When was the last time you ran disk cleanup and defragged your harddrive?

What happens if you reboot and make it the first thing you do?

1) yes,windows xp SP3

2) defrag and cleanup of all partitions of hard disk (C,D,J etc.)?

3) It hangs every time

that site was not useful. and the normal instructions were not available

All the instructions say is copy both discs to your desktop and run the setup.exe from there.
