    hmmm it could but just like the request for a new map the main focus is to get 4.0 out and then to get to get better a.i. better map more regions etc. Thats a very good idea by the way

    I thought SV used XAI (not Lusted)?

    you can use as well the savage or lusted, just back up the original files in sure guard:
    battle_config
    config_ai_battle
    descr_campaign_ai_db
    descr_campaign_db
    ...
    or other files according what there are in your new AI pack

    The current AI in 3.3 is XAI, but you should be able to use Savage AI with no problem. I have been testing it, and it works very well. I really like that the AI is much more willing to make peace and Vassalage when they know they are losing.

    I am planning to add another option to the launcher to pick between XAI and Savage AI (to be used only if you want to switch AI's, not every time you play).

    exactly, its really better for me too...I think the Lusted's and the Savage's AI at large are better than the Xery AI. With these AI I had noticed less useless naval war by blocus for example.
    And the wars are the most time finished by one vasselage treaty.

    You know SV if its possible to become vassal as player?
    That would be very realistic when the player is one little faction like Genoa, Scotland, Achaia, Wallachia...
    You want keep the Xeryx AI as well?

    Yes, I am going to keep XAI as well, just offer both options in the launcher.

    I will upgrade XAI after 4.0 is released.


    @joos

    Just backup the following files:

    descr_campaign_ai_db.xml
    descr_diplomacy.xml


    and replace with Savages files.

    It will give a sort of hybrid AI, and works quite well.

    Yes
    but better to restart one campaign. with some changing of ai system during game, that may cause some lagging.
