Elephant with only one rider

Hello,
Is possible to have elephants mounted by only one man?
I get a CTD if I change the descr_mount this way:

riders                1
rider_offset        0.05, 1.15, 1.43

It only works for me if the elephant have at least two riders.

You need 2 as a minimum, but you can bury the second one in the ground with the rider offset to keep him hidden. The unit card will still show the real number of riders in the unit though.
