Cool! I asked IceTorque to add back the marian reforms + the pre-marians a while ago and he agreed.
So I'm going to ask you:
- is there still the marian reforms and the pre-marian units (romans) in your map?
- is there still the FoR-recruiting-system? I never actually tried it but I looking forward to do so!
- are there any of your great skins, like the gauls, in the map?

My Irish Gaelic is virtually non-existent but I know dubh is black/dark and tir is land. So what does it mean?

Is it for RTW 1.5? Your opening statement suggests otherwise. In answer to GODzilla's question wasn't this a Map only mod not including IceTorque's fullmod features.
It`s a "warmap clone" but strictly vanilla, with vanilla units and features and nothing else!
It`s a provincial campaign and no global game change, therefore it does not matter what custom units or skins you use.
It has none of Ice Torque`s unique inventions included and therefore can be used by anyone who uses Rtw 1.3 !!!!
I have not yet patched to 1.5 / 1.6 and have no clue which differences it makes, therefore i am not sure about its usefulness for Rtw 1.5
Patwest , i guess you allready know it and maybe you can send me all needed 1.5 txt files or give me the needed advise here and i can include files for full 1.5 compatibility with the upload in 36 hours.
Anyway, the next version will be fully compatible with the new patch, if there is a difference related to provincial campaigns!
Maybe the next version will feature my custom celts as hidden resources and grows into a mod with my skins included etc. maybe......
But my main goal is to have a good map for all who dont like the various spezial inventions which other mods often have ....so maybe not.

my Campaign description file has the entries for tir lon dubh and also warmap and imperial campaign, means you can have them installed all at the same time.
MasterOfNone, if you ask me what kind of bird a webbird is, i would answer, a blackbird!
Lon dubh is the gealic name for blackbird and you can maybe understand it then as Land of blackbirds or Webbird`s land ;O)
if you have read all postings in my "Warmap development topic" you all may know what this campaign map will be, the best i could do, in my first work of this kind, for a vanilla rtw 1.3 map in the timeframe of the first punic war.
It has about 180 provinces and about 60 provinces are under "Slave-Control"
Many provinces of the original warmap provinces where edited, have new shapes and borders, many are renamed and placed different but with history in mind.
Some provinces are added and
many rivers where edited, some new rivers added, the ground type file is completly different.
Storms and floods are included by a fitting desaster.tga and many more changes.
It`s version 1.0 and will grow and change with your ideas and feedback but first give it a try, this weekend :O)

Nice map, I know what you mean in the changes. If you need the City coordinates let me know I took all 165 provinces. lol Pain in the rear if you what I mean. Did you fix the radar map issue? Because he didnt include any with his map?

Yes i know the radar map issue, first i wanted to release an error free game map and will spend some time for good radar maps and player maps for the next version.
But with the map comes also all needed leader pics, player maps and descriptions etc.which you need to run the campaign.
And if you like the above pic as full splash.tga too.
But to all of you my suggestion and advise, give your walls a happyness and also law bonus and change the upkeep costs of units to 60% of original value or you will more fight to survive your financial problems then any enemies ;O)

Webbird I'm not quite sure what if any files are different. I can rework the strat file fine and I have about half of all his map coordinates too, that took some time. I'll ask IceTorque. In a few hours when I get home I can send you any files you need from 1.5 or IceTorques barebones for 1.5
P.S. Did you or anyone ever do unit cards for your skins? I havn't got around to mastering that skill yet.
on this map tribes(venedae) have small wrong place
this is old name for slavs -and old slavs tribes venedi - live in north place visla(vistula river) in forests
only in 1st c. a.c slavs start migrate on north ukraine .russland on north balcanian region ....

But i think you mean the picture above yes? It was a black&white drawing which i used to create the pergament splash screen.
It`s not related to the maps setup.
For version 1.0 i have included all ideas for the province setup which i considered a "must have" for a good map of 270bc.
As i told, we have 20 provinces-slots open for further additions but those should be created after the feedback
of all of you shows, which ones are most important to include for the next version.

webbird, you need to give all coastal tiles a height of 1, 1, 1, and all land tiles the same minimum height.
This will remove the triangles on your coasts and the inland lakes on Sicily.
Also the radar maps do not fit the land mass.
No, I don't have the radar maps, I prefer how it looks without them.

It's nice to read that you made a vanilla map out of all those 'mod maps'. Nevertheless, I am waiting for V1.1 and then I will play again RTW.

Dammit. Got no time tomorrow to come back to RTW and test it because of a whole day of work is waiting for me. Well, **** happens.
All of your stuff is good webbird but you have to learn to attach screens, a lot of them.
