Preference to mini-campaigns

I have played 165 hours of Napoleon (ouch!) and haven't completed a single Grand Campaign yet. I'm not entirely sure why, does anyone else find themselves quitting the campaign, getting bored of it and whatnot? I preferred the mini-campaigns of Italy and (to a lesser extent) Egypt.

A lot yes, for some reason I prefer to play the beginning year or so of a campaign, then I just start another, often with the same faction :L

I preferred my Prussian campaigns because at least I could improve my country before going to war. But the other countries just seem to enter war straight away!

I agree, there is pressure to join the coalition or be destroyed by it, or be sallowed by the ogre that is Napoleon.
