Default Building up a gaming pc

Alright guys, I need your help!
I'm building my first ever gaming pc, hence I'm not well experienced in what to choose precisely.
Well my budget is of 1000 Euros; I've got to buy everything (of course), monitor, keyboard and Windows 7 Home Premium 64 bits included.
Alright, I live in Italy, therefough I'm gonna buy everything on a Italian store, so I've gotta ask you to check it out in order to help me. http://www.prokoo.com/

This is what I thought of buying (I'm sure you guys can offer me better deals):

1: Case: Cooler Master 690 II Advanced Pure Black Edition, 99 Euros http://www.prokoo.com/cooler-master-...to-p-1337.html

    2: Mobo: Asus 1155 P8H67-M LE, 89 Euros http://www.prokoo.com/asus-1155-p8h6...mi-p-6702.html

    3: CPU: Intel Core i7 2600, 266 Euros http://www.prokoo.com/intel-core-i72...ge-p-6639.html

    4: Ram: DDR3 1333Mhz PC10666 6GB Patriot Signature CL9 (3x2GB), 65 Euros http://www.prokoo.com/ddr3-1333mhz-p...5b6f291d281073

    5: GPU: ATI HD6870 GIGABYTE, 199 Euros http://www.prokoo.com/hd6870-gigabyt...ni-p-6887.html

    6: PSU: Cooler Master Real Power M620, 620W, 105 Euros http://www.prokoo.com/cooler-master-...0w-p-3943.html

    7: HDD: Samsung 1TB HD103SJ 7200RPM 32MB, 49,74 Euros http://www.prokoo.com/samsung-hd103s...nt-p-2955.html

    8: Monitor: Asus LED 21.5 MS228H, 159 Euros http://www.prokoo.com/asus-ms228h-10...mi-p-4509.html

    9: Keyboard: Microsoft Wired 600 Black, 14,40 Euros http://www.prokoo.com/tastiera-micro...ck-p-6582.html

    10: OS: Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium 64 Bits, 97 Euros http://www.prokoo.com/microsoft-wind...it-p-3362.html

    11: DVD Burner: DVD-RW Pioneer DVR-219L, 27 Euros http://www.prokoo.com/dvdrw-pioneer-...ro-p-8065.html

For a total of: 1,170.14 Euros; too much for my pockets.

Yes, no mouse, I already got plenty of those.
    So, what do you suggest?
Such help will be +repped of course!

It's been a while since I last built a PC and maybe I'm a little out of date with the parts but I read that the sandy-bridge cpu's (like your i7 2600) have been faulty lately. Maybe wait till they get a fix for that? Or you can get another cpu. Also I believe that the PSU suffices but If it were me I would get at least a 700W - 750W one since in a PC you always upgrade parts.

Other than that p sweet built imo

    Thanks, have some +rep!
About the cpu, yes, I knew about that, that list is just provisional.
About the psu, I know, but I can't spend more than 1000 euros, I'm waiting for some more advices.

Now that I'm having a look at it closely you have bought triple channel RAM while your mobo only supports 2 so try to switch it for a 2x2.

If you ask me my heart says Intel but my mind says AMD for gaming and I believe AMD is the road you should follow. The difference between an i7 and a Phenom in gaming is too small. That difference in money between them (and mobo) should lower the total price. I would get this: http://www.prokoo.com/phenom-35ghz-4...5w-p-4807.html

    Alright, that's good.
What about that cpu with this motherboard? http://www.prokoo.com/asrock-extreme3-p-4603.html
The total goes to 977.14 Euros, the only thing I need to is the ram, which one would be better to buy? Let's say 4 gigs?
Also, is the motherboard too expensive? Should I get another one?

About the psu, let's scratch that one, it is too expensive.
What about this one http://www.prokoo.com/corsair-cmpsu6...0w-p-1168.html for 79 Euros
Or this http://www.prokoo.com/lcpower-super-...00w-p-984.html for 38 Euros.
That would lower the price and allow me to buy ram too without passing the 1000 limit I think.

About the motherboard I think that's good but someone with more experience can tell you if ASRock are a reliable brand. If you dont mind having only 1 pci-e slot though you can buy a cheaper mobo but that would limit you in the future cause you can't crossfire.
4 GB of Ram is enough and will be enough for at least a couple of years. After that you can upgrade of course.

The Corsair one definitely. The PSU is one of the most important parts in a PC and if the PSU is not a quality one it can damage other parts.

If you get an intel i7 2600 CPU then you should get a P67 motherboard. Of course those aren't a good thing to buy necessarily until the recall is over and the new board are available.

    Motherboard: Asus Sabertooth P67

GPU: 2, Zotac 448 core GTX 560ti's in SLI
    Storage: Crucial M4 256GB SSD
    PSU: Corsair CMPSU-1000HX Semi-modular
Case: Coolermaster Cosmos II XL-ATX Full Tower
Heatsink: Thermaltake HR-02 Passive CPU Cooler
Keyboard: Logitech G19 with LCD Display

A big thank you goes to Juli26, and +rep of course when the system allows it again!
Alright, the total at the moment is 951.14 Euros, I just need 4 gigs of Ram; which one should I choose? Possibly not expensive.
Also, I thought of that PSU just because it is the best selling power supply unit in that website. What do you think about it? That one would really lower the price.

Awesome, I've added the first one to the basket for a total of 998.14 Euros, perfect.
    Thanks a lot Juli26!
I think I've found the right build, thanks again!
How well do you think it'll perform? And with what settings with Shogun 2?

Very High on 1920 x 1080 on almost if not all games that are out at the moment . Shogun is not an exception

    Perfect!
Alright I'm polishing my list again.
What if instead of taking this case http://www.prokoo.com/cooler-master-...to-p-1337.html for 99 Euros I'd take this one http://www.prokoo.com/cooler-master-...ack-p-119.html for 49?
I mean who cares about the flashy light thingy, right?
Would everything fit into it? And what about its air flowing? Does it look good?

By lowering that price I'd be able to get this screen http://www.prokoo.com/samsung-xl2370...mi-p-4279.html which is way better and also bigger than this one http://www.prokoo.com/asus-ms228h-10...mi-p-4509.html which is tiny and "crappier" still staying under the 1000 Euros budget!
What do you think about this?

PS: I really hope Inter wins the Scudetto altough I support Juventus and Catania; my Milan supporter friends really need a smack!

I dunno about the case. If it has enough space and good airflow go for it but if it doesn't than don't. Read some reviews about the new case and after that decide.

    Off topic: Inter will win

    I don't know either.

What about this one for the same price? http://www.prokoo.com/thermaltake-black-edition-p-4773.html

I've seen a video on youtube with the following specs:
    GPU : ASUS EAH6850 DirectCU/2DIS/1GD5
    CPU : AMD Phenom II X4 965 Black Edition~3,4GHZ
    Memory : CORSAIR DDR3 2x2048MB 1600MHz
Hard Disc : WESTERN DIGITAL Caviar Green 1000GB 64MB cache
    Hard Drive : 2x 320GB Toshiba
    Motherboard : ASUS M4A88T-V EVO/USB3
    Monitor: HP x22 21.5" LED
    Resolution : 1920x1080
    mouze^^ : Logitech mx518 Gaming Grade
    Keyboard: Logitech K120
Operating System : Windows 7™ Home Premium 64-bit
    PSU : CORSAIR HX650
    Computer Case : Thermaltake V4 Black Edition/Blue LED/

I assume that if those ones fit into it, mine will too right?

Probably. I would advise you to go on a local store and take a look at those cases and other parts before you purchase them though. In that way you can really see with your won eyes if it will fit or not. I believe it will but like I said before... better safe than sorry.

    If they'd have such components.
This is how a pc store is:
There's almost nothing because the majority of people where I live don't build computers, so stores have only low end stuff.
If I'd have to buy such components in a physical store where I live I'd have to pay an inflated price because they'd just order them pieces and make me pay more; there isn't much to do unfortunately.

You misunderstood me. I'm not telling you to buy things there but just take a look at them . If they don't have such components though there's not much you can do.

From what I'm reading the hd6870 is not bigger than hd6850 so yeah. All parts should fit into that case.

    I think I haven't misunderstood, but it doesn't matter.

Alright, at the moment I'm planning to take this CPU http://www.prokoo.com/phenom-35ghz-4...5w-p-4807.html for 155 Euros.

But what about this one? http://www.prokoo.com/phenom-1090t-3...5w-p-4405.html for 164 Euros; it's a six core which goes at 3.2 GHz.

This is the motherboard I'm planning to buy by the way http://www.prokoo.com/asrock-extreme3-p-4603.html which is compatible with both CPUs.

The total of the shopping cart with that CPU would be of 990 Euros, still under my bugdet.
The question is, is that CPU worth 9 Euros more? Or not?
