What faction do u dislike?

Can anyone tell me wat the most boringest worst faction is? Because i want to study the negative problems of all the factions

The most BORING faction in the game has to be the Saxons. Lacking troop variety and territorial expansion.

really? but do they like having anything good bout them? like their morale etc.

Saxon Hearth troops are good heavy infantry but thats about it. trust me, you WILL go insane playing as them.

No, I would say the central germanics (Burgundis, Lombards, allemani) are the worst, and persiely for that reason. While the celts, franks + saxons have unique unit rosters, those theree, or the goths/vandals, have the -exact- same units, unit to unit, as eachother.

I'd have to disagree, the saxons are some of the most unique in BI.

I'd say the Allemani/Lombardi/Burgundi definetly.

Actually, when I was playing a while ago I developed a big empire as the Saxons. It included South Britain, Saxony and all the coastal towns to the north. But, alas, it fell to pieces...

I like to play any of the reskinned factions and the Goths. I strongly dislike Sarmatians. Their kind of warfare is just not mine. It usually ends up in a cavalary slaughterfeast.

Well..actually in fact I dislike the entire BI thing. The "Barbarian" Invasion too often fails and the WRE managed by the Computer just grows into gigantic size again. As whatever faction I usually can't stand the fact that most of the time I am only fighting Romans. And playing them is also of too little fun. Once the inner conflicts are resolved...goodbye barbarians.

For me, i have to agree with the Thracian. All the Horde factions can go to hell in my opinion. CA didnt have the time nor the inclination to give them any individuality. I hate the part of the WRE campaign when your halting the Goths, Vandals Huns, etc and it just feels like your fighting the same army over and over again, forever. A real monotonous grind.Fine, make the Huns a pain in the arse with their Horse archers, but all four factions? I heard someone mention that the Goths were more Cavalry based (as in mounted warriors, not mounted archers) in real-life, is this true? Would it have killed CA to do more models or were Sega turning the screws and Spartan needed finishing?

Just started a new Imperial Campaign (do you know ive never finished one yet?!) and everything is just so much more better balanced and polished. Im running a 3.2ghz P4 with 2gb Ram and an 7800gtx (latest drivers etc.) and i swear it runs smoother and looks better than on BI. Sure someone will disagree, just my opinion. Dont get me wrong, BI is good fun. Nothing beats starting the WRE campaign for the first time, and realising EVERYONE hates you and that flush of pleasure i got when i finally trounced all the hordes, secured my empire, and then went after those back-stabbing bastard ERE cousins!

I just think the "cloned" hordes show that CA were under alot of pressure to exploit an already existing customer base, im sure the designers had grandiose plans but someone from Sega wanted to make sure their newly acquired "asset" turned a quick profit. BI is excellant, but RTW vanilla is brilliant, and thats why they didnt get away with it.

...i never said funner

Anyways, I like the vandals because you can sack so many cities going through italy, spain, and north africa. Establishing a north african state is great fun.

the huns and vandals, after yoyu destroy an entire force, and just 2 family members left, you chase them all over, they take some dum barabarian settlement and get therer army back...

Have to say that Allemani, Lombard and Burgundi are definitely non unique and boring to death. Hell, all of BI suffers from lack of variety and ideas...
