LCD TV Stopped Recognizing My PC!

There I was, using my computer, doing nothing iffy to cause a problem, especially not anything involving the tv. All of the sudden I get the flicker that the tv does before it changes screen resolution (which is suppose to happen if switching between sources or even running games on the computer) but then the screen went black and now doesn't recognize the PC or something. I can't get it pick up on it, I have the monitor cable in, I tried making sure it was tight and not choked... I turned the power off an on. That doesn't do it... I really need to use my computer! With a visual quality lol... This isn't my computer right now. So please please tell me how to get my PC showing pack up on my tv. It's a samsung if that matters... THANKS TO ANYONE THAT HELPS!

How is it plugged into the TV? VGA? HDMI? S-Video?

VGA. It's the blue VGA cable type, I have had it like that for ages and all of the sudden it stops recognizing.

K I just tried to watch my Blu Ray player and that isn't being recognized either... so it's a problem with the tv... I seriously need to get this working, or I will take a torch to the nearest samsung building.

Do you have an extra cable to try out on the TV? Does the TV work independently from the computer - i.e. can you still watch TV programs on it?

What GPU do you have in your system? Any chance it's slowly dieing?

Nah man, this isn't just my pc now... it's not recognizing my Blu Ray player either. It just did it out of nowhere...

Then I hope you have a warranty on that TV. If it's not seeing either your PC or Blu-Ray then something's messed up with the TV set. Are you sure you double-and-triple checked the cords? Do you have any other piece of electronics in between the Blu-Ray, PC and the TV that could have failed - i.e. is there a possibility the signal's being lost at a cable box or some such? Good luck!

Idk about the warranty man, No I don't have anything between the cables and such... this just happened out of nowhere. It was working fine as I was using my PC then all of the sudden, signal lost. Pisses me off cuz nothing was wrong before that. So idk man.

Contact the company that makes your set and see about getting it repaired. Or look for a local shop. It sounds like something broke inside. Good luck!
