    Ok good. Keep in mind that those alliance rules are for the AI to AI and not human. Next release I should have a universal rule for everyone to achieve what I want. Also I will add a longer grace period before AI can attack each other.

    playing a campaign with byz and then ai noted that the Ai is letting cities unguarded a lot and not attacking my cities that a let the same.

    That's completely normal since the AI is either expanding or sees you as non-threatening.

    It's how SS is setup. You can't snap your fingers and have the AI suddenly appear before your land. They are most likely on the other side of the map hunting down rebel cities. Give it time.

    you're right the turks few turns later start a counter offensive...anyway the rebeles leaving the settlement unprotected steel happening on all settlements

    Yes, I agree about the rebels. Is there anything to remedy it and make them stay behind the walls? The Latin Empire just disappears off the map in just a few turns. Making the conquest of the Balkans relatively easy.

    Will see what I can do. 1.5 will be out as soon as I can figure out how alliances work with this game because everything I'm trying isn't working. I did go through the entire invasion parameters and re-did everything and the results are quite nice. After that I may be checking out Shogun 2.


    Edit: Starting to re-work the entire alliance scheme and it's working which is great. No more easy alliances for human on hard and very hard.

    1.5 will be released soon. Includes totally re-worked alliances. There will be no more alliances between different factions as it was in 1.4c. Also, humans are now included in decisions. Just did a test turn and I was betrayed by my ally spain so you should also see that happening a little more too.

    What do you mean there wont be alliances between different factions. Do you mean religions?

    Awww man, i promised myself that i would go through my denmark campaign, but i really want to try this AI. I may go for it when the 1.5 gets out.
