hey guys
Since 1.4.2 I've a problem when I hire a mercenary captain, I allways get a crash to desktop. Apart from that my campain is on turn 81 and I got only 3 crashes after battles.
Several trys with new installations didn't help.
I've insttalled 1.4.2 with english translation
Win XP 64
I hope anyone knows a trick to handle this problem

All or just a specific Merc Captain??? Could possible be a error in spawn script. But need the name and of whos causing it.

No with all of them. I get on the beginning of the turn a display with the description and the photo. And as I said when I click on the green button to thire them i crash back to desktop.
It also doesn't matter which faction I choose, means it happened with all factions.Peace is a lie, there is only passion.

Sounds like a corrupt install. I had the opportunity to hire Gortek first turn and no crash.
