Galician Ria Greatest Map Ever!!!

Wins and Losses alike on Galician Ria for me have been awesome!!!

Nothing but close epic matches. I have had great comebacks against people and one has had a comeback against me (damn you Frost...)

Is this just the best map for attacking and defending ever or am I just going insane with excitement?

This map is officially the best map to me for all round fair gaming in Napoleon Total War.

If you like to defend, this is your map. Hills to defend on, forests, houses, and many strategic places to stake up.

If you like to attack, fun attacking houses (unless it's a lone Chuck Norris Prussian Fusilier), slopes to give cover for rushing against cannons (Howitzers are a problem though ), but as an attacker, I suggest you take two howitzers. Attacking while having artillery support is dangerous.

I recently had a fun match against a random, and it turned out to be both fun for both of us. This map gives balanced to the experienced and inexperienced.

I also recently lost to Risquard on Galician Ria, was a fun match to go full out.

It is the best map, along with homestead.
The great thing about it is it being balanced, but not mirror-like as most other terrain maps. Plenty of forests and hills to get the tactical advantage on your opponent.

Only question remains is, why did you take so long to figure out how good this map is?

great map if ur playing with a good player who mixes defending and attacking while vs a hardcore camper it can be a nightmare.

Flats FTW

Yeah defo best map dude. Too many clansters out there refuse to play anything other than flats. This is because they are worried that the enemy might do something that they cant predict and show them up. Italian grass I enjoy too but only 2v2.

Galician Ria and Italian grassland are my favs. Thou Salamanca has been a map where I have had some of my best battles especially a 4v4 that went down to a 1 unit melee fight and it had next no lagg

Those maps are for n00bs, real men play grassy flats.

Playing only grassy flats with max 5 100/125 no art gets boring quick. Especially since you're only seeing Prussia and France in 90% of those games.

Lies, I allways use British. So it dosn't get boring.....

I dont seem to have time for grassy flatlands these days. I painted my house the other day and im spending all my time watching it dry.
