info bar type thing

how do i get at the battle info bar to edit change look of it

sorry cant recall proper name of it

If you're referring to the little popup window you get when placing your cursor over the unit in battle you want to edit data\text\export_units.txt change this entry. It also determines the name in the info cards too.

If you're trying to remove the info splashed across the bottom, go to preferences text and change minimal ui to true.

sorry no but thats good to know, i mean the unit/map/weather/formation/ browser during battles
(such along time since i ran through sons of mars)
also the ui cards your looking for, if their just replacement skins(and theres not to many) zip and post the textures and original unit names and ill see what i can do

I don't know how to modify the info bar the second answer will hide most of it not change it.

If you're referring to my unit card request in the skins forum I just posted the link to the chosen swordsmen skins. I don't need the heavy merc one really. If you get around to it, great, if not no problem. Anybody who does will get full credit when I release my mod.

I figured from your response earlier that was what you wanted. The minimal_ui true setting just hides it. I don't know if it can be modded.
