    Default Need help with Medieval 2 Total War

    ok,i installed Medieval 2 Total war but couldn't even get to the main menu,an error appeared "Medieval 2: Total War encountered an unspecified error and will now exit".so i downloaded patch 1.02,then even to patch 1.03 but it still didn't work.after that i did tried a few things:reinstalled,updated latest directx 9,applied patch 1.02 then patch 1.03,added -nm in the target tab in Medieval 2 total war shorcut properties,now when started Medieval 2 shorcut (not medieval2.exe),an CA_LIBS error occured "Medieval 2 suffered a fatal error and will now exit".here is my dxdiag.any help will be great

    CA_LIBS error is an error that says the game did not get installed correctly. It is missing parts and pieces. It means you will have to reinstall the game.

    May I suggest testing it after installing 1.0, before the patches. If it does not work then, the patches won't help. The same with 1.02.

    May I also suggest installing .Net 4.
