    Icon1 What is wrong... With what isn't there?

    okay... This is strange, I try to run the game, and it says:
    Code:
    20:35:37.700 [script.err] [error] Script Error in mods/Heidinn_Vedr/data/export_descr_buildings.txt, at line 3813, column 3
    Building descriptions must include 'castle_port' building strand
    and if we go to that place....
    Code:
      }
    }
    that's line 3812 and 3813, the last one is 3813, it's the end of the whole thing. There is nothing beyond that point. So... what went wrong? It might help to mention I am using this tutorial for making only one settlement type:

    I really don't know what could be wrong with with a column that is nonexistent.

    My guess would be you have a level in the building structure that is not the first level and isn't listed as an upgrade for any other level. Another possibility is that since its a building that switches when settlement types are changed its code for switching is still in place but the code of its opposite number for regular settlements no longer exists.

    Welll... I fixed the first problem, and the second, but it's still there in the error log....

    Post the entire building tree so we can have a look. And the error is still the same one?

    I attached it, it was too long to post. It is the same exact error, I checked.

    Are you sure that attached file is correct as when I open it, with notepad++, there is only 3331 lines not 3813 or more lines?

    If you're doing a one settlement type mod you must still include the castle and castle_port buildings in the EDB.
    Stick them at the end and remove any "convert to" references.

    Here's a working alltowns EDB:

    Note you'll need to catch all refs to castles, and specifically castle buildings in guilds, ED character traits, ED ancillaries (and any other files mentioned in system.log as causing problems) and comment them out as well.
