Chinese Rocket Cavalry?

I wonder, where did this idea come from? I am researching Chinese Weapons like these but I always thought they were handheld bucket-like things that shot more than one at a time, but the Cavalry shoots them like pistols.

NOT that I'm complaining about it, it's definetly awesome!

But I just do wonder, can you post so pictures on what the actual rocket launcher-gun thing looks like?

Yeah I know but I still want to know the part where it only shoots one fire arrow and looks like a gun O-O

maybe the real history it not shoot like gun, but the game medieval 2 total war dint make an rocket shooting animation in cavalry, so the modder have to use the shooting gun animation to the cavalry

Making animations is a little difficult, so it's possible one just wasn't made.
