blood particles in melee?
You know how there's a little splash of red whenever a unit is hit by ranged? Why doesn't this exist in melee? Can someone make it so this happens with every melee deathblow(or wound for those with more than 1) as well?

We can attach different sound effects to different animations, but not graphical effects like we see result from missile impacts, AFAIK. There doesn't seem to be a way of triggering these graphical effects in melee. No sparks flying, no blood spray. There is an overlay texture which splatters blood in the right places when animations are set up correctly. But it just appears on the texture, no spray as such.

Crimson tide mod is different and he is asking about the blood splash\spray that we see for half a second when an arrow hits a unit.
CT mod is just replacement of blood textures in the overlaytextures folders.
