    Default Policy on using units for other mods?

    Hey everyone,

    I was just wondering if anyone knows the Ruischi team's policy for using their units for other mods? Looks like Tchouk hasn't posted anything on TWC since July/August - not sure if a PM would get a response. I know I've seen their work in other mods. If credit is given to them, is it ok to use some of their stuff for other projects?

    Usually a PM stating that you will use them is enough, if problems arise, you have proof of writing a message.

    Yes I'm pretty sure if you are making a Total War mod, simply crediting them and sending them a pm would be acceptable, they've been very generous with so many mods hosted on TWC already it would be silly to think they would turn someone else down who was legitimately interested. The bad part is they probably won't respond to pm since they have moved on. I would attempt to contact them though.

    I do know they were working on a community resource, if anyone has that link to the virtual museum of units.

    what is that in substance? Have you some pictures about the packed elements?

    I tried to access the link to their high res models and it killed my browser, there was a software program you had to have installed to view the models in 3D.

    They posted the link here in several places, it's probably no longer available.

    I was the 1st that got writen permision to use Rusichi material.
    Tchouk and Sargon-1 notified me that they were very happy from the axeptance of their work. They created this mod as a gift to th emodding community. Here is their 1st answer to my request more than a year ago.

    Nottice the phrase "as long as credit is given"...
    So this is the main policy of ussing Rusichi/Marka material.

    Adding MARKA HORSES in your mod and create new varietions of them. Tutorial RESTORED.

    Its free to use with credit, AFAIK. The creators are no longer active so it's impossible to ask anymore. But I could be very wrong.
