    Playing as Reikland, roughly turn 4-5 when I'm prompted to go to aid another faction against Orcs at Averheim (I think), I click yes but then nothing happens, my army does not spawn to aid my allies.

    Anyone else have this?

    I'm on 1.4.2 with English patch.

    yes the same happned to me too. i was going to use that armie to push back the attack on grunburg but the army didnt come and neither did the battle but the scipted even for Nordland and the black/red ox people that i forgot the name of happned with no problems or bugs. i lost the Nordland battle but i won the black one and in both cases nothing crashed and everything went smoothly

    the only problem i seem to have with scripted events or even normal battles(not that often) is that the AI besomes retarded while trying to retreat after losing a battle or trying to siege my city, they act retarded by walking increadibly slowly or just standing there for a good 2 minutes before anything happens. dont get me wrong, nothing crashes but its just slow as hell sometimes.

    The same thing that brings you all this awesome intensity, turn by turn.(Chaos Undivided, mass chaos on screen of a uncertain battlefield and turn of events, Waaaghs, Imperial Crusades, Night Goblin sneak attacks) is because of the script! Yes there will be some slow turns because the script is doing what it is supposed to do and the unit it is directing is slow marching there. But what a small price to pay for the Uberness of this EPIC mod. By waiting a little longer, and to think CTD's are getting less and less

    @Evil_Ewok Since I do not play the Empire at all. Hmm looking at the script it seems it should have fired But there is alot of script for Averheim. I suggest going back to that turn if you have a save and try it agin to see if its truly not firing. Also I saw some of them have delays, it seems. Advance a few turns.
    If it dose not work post in Official bug thread I'm sure the team would like to know if the script is not firing right.

    Subsequent scripted events working correctly, just not the initial one playing as Reikland. No CTD's or slowness, just this initial non-appearing army.

    Eidius - I too was going to use the Averland defence script army to defend Grunberg, but still defeated the Orcs anyway. Empire Halberds in city streets are a classic defence.

    RedDwarf - I suspect you are a Dwarf player, as I was originally, but you should give the Empire a try they are great fun, and I love the cavalry that Dwarves do not have.

    Well I am glad to see that your game is not broken. As for playing the Empire perhaps one day I will try them. Since I am a dwarf, first and foremost, the only thing I ride is back at my hearth!
